THE CWAC COMMITTEE The Committee of the California Women’s Amateur Championship is composed of 50 women who donate their time and energy into running three state amateur tournaments each year. The Senior Women’s is the first CWAC tournament of the year and in 2009, was played for the first time at the challenging Corral de Tierra Country Club, in Corral de Tierra, CA. The second, is the Junior Girls’ State Amateur, which will beplayed the latter part of June at the beautiful Monterey Peninsula Country Club, Pebble Beach. Lastly, the Women’s State Amateur in November, will be played at the renowned Quail Lodge Resort, near the mouth of Carmel Valley. Our members have two things in common: their love of the sport, and the idea that women golfers, whether they come from private clubs, public golf courses or have no affiliation at all, can come together and compete for an amateur title.
