THE CWAC COMMITTEE The Committee for the California Women’s Amateur Championships is composed of 50 women who donate their time and energy into running 3 state amateur tournaments each year. The Senior Women’s is the first CWAC tournament of the year played at the challenging Bayonet golf course in Seaside, Ca. formerly Ford Ord. The second is the Girl’s State Amateur, played in July this year at the beautiful Monterey Peninsula Country Club and lastly the Women’s State Amateur in November at the renowned Quail Lodge. Our members have 2 things in common. Their love of the sport and the idea that women golfers, whether they come from private clubs, public golf courses or have no affiliation at all can come together and compete for an amateur title.
