32nd CALIFORNIA SENIOR WOMEN’S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

Format:  Stroke Play – 3 days
Eligibility:  Open to female amateurs with USGA Handicap Indexes 22.3 or lower.
Age Limit:  50 years & older on or before May 17, 2010; Super Seniors – 70 years & older
Field Limit:  80 players with the lowest handicaps on May 1, 2010.
Entry Fee:  $275.00 (green fees, cart, Monday night reception & Wed Awards Lunch)

Starting Times:
May 17 – Round 1, 1PM Shotgun
May 18 – Round 2, Tee Times, starting @ 8:30AM Hole #1
May 19 – Round 3, 8:30AM shotgun
Tees & Yardage:  Combo Red & White / 5604 Yards…Rating 72.7 Slope 128 New!
Pairings:  Monday pairings may be random with a Flight. Tuesday and Wednesday
Pairings will by gross scores.
Flights & Prizes:  The Fields is divided into Flights determined by the number of entries
accepted by the Committee using May 1, 2009 USGA Handicap Indexes. A gross
competition only, the Overall Champion is the player with the lowest gross score.
1st. 2nd & 3rd low gross places are awarded in each Flight.
Ties: In the event of a tie for the Overall Champion, there will be a sudden-death playoff.
All other ties are broken using Wednesday scorecards according to USGA recommendations –
the back 9 method, Holes #10-18.

Dress code:  Proper golf attire; not permitted jeans, short shorts, halter tops. Soft spikes only.
Refunds:  Entry fee will be refunded if entry is not accepted. The Committee will refund
the entry fee in the event of injury or illness if requested before May 10.  A $50.00 service
charge will be deducted from all refunds.  No refunds for any reason after May 10, 2010.
Caddies: Not permitted. New!
Electronic measuring devices: Allowed.
