Junior Championship 18 holes of stroke play to determine match play flights: Championship and Lengfeld. Ties for the 32nd spot in the Championship flight will be determined with a hole-by-hole play-off. Single elimination match play within each flight.
Starlets Flight 18 holes individual stroke play, 9 holes each day.
ENTRY FEE: Due to Clubhouse construction at MPCC, there will be no Players’ Dinner this year.
Junior Championship $175 includes greens fees and practice balls prior to each round.
Starlets Flight $100 includes greens fees and practice balls prior to each round.
Junior Championship Open to girls with current Handicap Index not exceeding 9.4 as of the June 1st 2018 USGA Handicap Index Revision. CWAC accepts current index issued from an international body of golf that would be equivalent to a USGA Handicap Index within the prescribed limit for entry into the Championship. Age: 13-18 years old. Players must have reached their 13th birthday by Monday, June 25, 2018 but not their 19th birthday on or before June 28, 2018. 9 to 12-year-olds considered at the discretion of the CWAC Committee.
Starlets Flight Open to girls with a current USGA Handicap Index as of June 1st 2018 USGA Handicap Index Revision.
Age: 9-12 years old. Players must have reached their 9th birthday by Monday, June 25, 2018 but not their 13th birthday on or before June 26, 2018.
Junior Championship Field limited to 64 players with the lowest Handicap Indexes.
Starlets Flight Field limited to 12 players with the lowest Handicap Indexes.
WAITLIST: All entries will be held on a waitlist until registration closes.
Junior Championship 64 players with the lowest Handicap Indexes will then be accepted into the Championship field. Should the number of entries exceed the field size, those not initially accepted into the field will remain on the waitlist ranked by June 1st Handicap Index and will be moved into the field in that order when an opening occurs.
Starlets Flight 12 players with the lowest Handicap Indexes will then be accepted into the Starlets field. Should the number of entries exceed the field size those not initially accepted into the field will remain on the waitlist ranked by June 1st Handicap Index and will be moved into the field in that order when an opening occurs.
June 25 18-hole stroke play qualifying; playoff for 32nd place in Championship Flight if needed

June 27 AM Round of 16; PM Quarterfinals
June 28 AM Semifinals; PM Finals
June 25 Round 1 stroke play
June 26 Round 2 stroke play; playoff for 1st place, if needed
Junior Championship CWAC marker; yardage targeted to be 5,900 yds.
Starlets Flight CWAC marker; yardage targeted to be 2,700 yds.
Junior Championship Prizes awarded for Winner, Runner Up, and Semifinalists in each flight and Medalist in the qualifying round. This Championship offers points for the NCGA Player of the Year and World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).
Starlets Flight Prizes awarded for lowest 18-hole score for Winner and Runner Up.
CADDIES: No caddies allowed.
PRACTICE ROUND: No practice round available.
TRANSPORTATION: No carts allowed for players or spectators.
WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS: Online withdrawal can be done prior to the close of registration; after registration closes, please contact Jennifer Noonan, JenniferNoonan@CWACgolf.org, 925-699-8731. Withdrawals after the closing date will be refunded 50% of the entry fee, up to 2 business days prior to the Championship. No refunds will be given for a withdrawal within 2 business days of the start of the Championship.
